"I grew up just south of Minnesota's Boundry Waters Canoe Area and still live nearby.  My family has lived in this area for generations and our lives have always been entwined in wild country, lakes and waters. I come from a long line of canoe people and I know more about my g-g-grandfather's canoes than I know about him.

Everyone has a vice of some sort, and mine is canoeing - preferably in wild places."
