Each year, just after the
ice breaks, a portage maintenance crew
attempts to clear about 25 percent of the
routes. Their report, and information from
other sources are used to update a status map
of the entire park. Claire writes a yearly
report about park conditions and it's a good
idea to get a copy before you enter.
