We're going to line up our map on our kitchen
table so that our compass acts exactly the same
way that it would if we were actually in Woodland
Caribou Park. Now it might occur to you that if you were in the park, you could point your compass at different landmarks - an island, a point of land, a channel - and take a magnetic bearing. You could then follow that bearing to get to the landmark. |
