Slide 17 You can read your bearing on the dial of the compass. For this example, our bearing is 120 degrees.

Mark it on your map, and add an arrow to show the direction of travel.

We don't have to worry anymore about "Grid North" or "Magnetic North" or declination - it doesn't matter. Our compass reads 120 degrees on our lined up map, and it will read 120 degrees when we're up in the park.
